SADAKO MEETS RAPUNZEL (AND BELLE)

Sadako’s favorite Disney Princess is Rapunzel, which is very interesting, when you come to think of it, because her name is Sadako – that long-haired ghost from The Ring.

I made a promise to her before; I told her I’d bring her to Disneyland so she could meet Rapunzel.

The thing is that she just met Rapunzel (and Belle!) awhile ago in SM North EDSA, thanks to Toy Kingdom’s Disney Princess Dream Big, Princess meet-and-greet.

It was cute to see Sadako with “other Disney princesses.” Good thing there was no other kid wearing the Rapunzel costume ;)

Sadako was very excited to see and meet Rapunzel. She couldn’t care less about Belle; she just wanted to see Raps. Good thing everything started on time and that there were some contests.

Sadako even won the first one because the question was Rapunzel-related.

And then Raps finally came out. Sadako was so happy she couldn’t wait to meet her and have a photo.

Belle appeared onstage next but Sadako was just chill.

In fact, Sadako was perfectly fine not having a photo with Belle, but everyone had to get a photo opp with Belle first before getting to Raps. So she had one.

After her time with Belle, Sadako couldn’t wait to get close to Raps.

Look at how excited she was (well hello there, Adidas Duramo slides).

The super weird thing is that I don’t think Sadako looked at Rapunzel. Like, at all. She just posed for photos. I even have a video clip where Raps was talking to her and Sadako just ran LOLers. Kinilig. Hindi kinaya.

Thanks again to Moch and the rest of Toy Kingdom and Disney. Sadako is so ecstatic. As in.

She even got to bring home goodies that she wanted to unbox/unwrap ASAP.

The best part of the whole thing? Sadako told me right after: “No need to go to Disneyland.”

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

For those of you with kids who want to meet Rapunzel and Belle, you can still do that at The Block in SM North EDSA, tomorrow and Sunday, May 21.

The two princesses will also meet and greet fans in SM City Cebu on May 26, 27, and 28.

Here’s the schedule:

May 19 and 26: 2pm, 3:30pm, 5:30pm, and 6:30pm
May 20, 21, 27, and 28: 12:30pm, 2pm, 3:30pm, 5:30pm, and 6:30pm

Don’t forget: it’s open to the general public and there is no entrance fee, but it’s first come-first served basis. Food, drinks, strollers, and sharp/pointed objects are not allowed in the area.

Thank you again to Toy Kingdom for making this possible and making a lot of kids happy. Don’t forget to check their online store at toykingdom.ph, and look for them on social media @ToyKingdomPH
