LA PACITA GRAHAM CRACKER SANDWICHES

I’m always one the lookout for yummy snacks for the office and these Graham cracker sandwiches from La Pacita caught my attention at the supermarket recently.


I was like, oo nga noh. It’s such a no-brainer when you come to think of it, but then no one really thought of it earlier but it really makes perfect sense. I guess we were all busy using Graham crackers for mango floats and ref cakes and s’mores.

Good thing La Pacita came up with these Graham cracker sandwiches.


The chocolate and peanut butter flavors were pretty expected but they’re still so good.


I especially like the peanut butter flavor but both really complement the crunch and taste of the Graham crackers.


My super favorite has got to be the cream cheese flavor. The cream cheese filling is pretty good, with that slightly sour-salty taste. It’s genius!



I love all of them so much I didn’t even get the chance to share them with Sadako. Guess I’ll be buying twice as much the next time we go to the supermarket.

Congratulations to shoe brand TOMS, which now has their flagship store at the Mega Fashion Hall of SM Megamall! I AUDITIONED FOR SMOKEY MOUNTAIN

I loved singing and performing for relatives and guests at home when I was young. One time, when I was about four years old, my mother asked me to sing Tomorrow for our relatives who were visiting. I instantly burst into song. However, after singing the first line with so much passion, I decided to stop and asked to be excused. I went inside my room, did a proper entrance, and then whipped out my milk bottle, which I used as a microphone. I sang “The sun will come out tomorrow” again and finished the song. No doubt about it: even when I was just a kid, I already knew I wanted to sing and perform for others. Fast forward to my high school years. One day, I read in the papers that Ryan Cayabyab was forming an all-male version of Smokey Mountain. Of course, I just had to try out. I didn’t tell my parents about it. MY 3-YEAR-OLD IS ALREADY WEARING A BRA

And it’s Beyonce’s fault. See, Sadako has a thing for playing dress-up. She asks for a bandana or a scarf or any piece of cloth to be wrapped around her head whenever she wants to sing along to her favorite Erykah Badu song, “Bag Lady.” She makes sure she’s wearing her kitten heels whenever she performs Tamar Braxton’s “Love and War.” She grabs this piece of white piece of lacy fabric and puts it around her shoulders whenever she’s copying Christina Aguilera in her American Music Awards performance, where she sang a medley of tracks from her “Lotus” album, starting with “Lotus (Intro).” So going back to Beyonce, my little one discovered the talented star just recently when I popped in a DVD copy of her 2006 concert. It didn’t take long for Sadako to copy the star’s birits, moves, and get-ups.
