YUMMY YUMMY: CADBURY DAIRY MILK HONEYCOMB AND NUTS

Cadbury is one of my favorite chocolate brands. I like that their chocolate is sweet and milky and rich and creamy. I don’t know about you but I like it when Cadbury’s all melted and messy to eat. OMG, thinking about it right now is making me smile and want to head to the nearest 7-Eleven so I can get a bar or two.


I love that they have a lot of flavors, too. I like the Fruit & Nut flavor the most, but I also like Hazelnut, Cashew & Cookies, and Black Forest.

And now there’s yet another new and interesting flavor: Honeycomb & Nuts, which I really, really love since I am a big fan of honeycomb. The honeycomb pieces provide extra sweetness and texture, plus nuts are always nice to have in chocolate. I am addicted, officially.

Sadako loves it, too, of course. But she never gets to finish a bar because I end up snatching it from her ;)



And oh, Sadako and I love the color purple so there’s no doubt about it – we love Cadbury.

Congratulations to shoe brand TOMS, which now has their flagship store at the Mega Fashion Hall of SM Megamall! I have to admit I’ve never owned a pair of TOMS so when I got to the store, I took my time and looked at EVERYTHING, from the men’s shoes to the even the women’s, plus those for kids, too. Now this has got to be my favorite and I have already promised my feet that I shall buy a beautiful polk-a-dotted pair once I get my 13 th month pay. Lakas maka-hot dad, noh? I AUDITIONED FOR SMOKEY MOUNTAIN

I loved singing and performing for relatives and guests at home when I was young. One time, when I was about four years old, my mother asked me to sing Tomorrow for our relatives who were visiting. I instantly burst into song. However, after singing the first line with so much passion, I decided to stop and asked to be excused. I went inside my room, did a proper entrance, and then whipped out my milk bottle, which I used as a microphone. I sang “The sun will come out tomorrow” again and finished the song. No doubt about it: even when I was just a kid, I already knew I wanted to sing and perform for others. Fast forward to my high school years. One day, I read in the papers that Ryan Cayabyab was forming an all-male version of Smokey Mountain. Of course, I just had to try out. I didn’t tell my parents about it. MY 3-YEAR-OLD IS ALREADY WEARING A BRA

And it’s Beyonce’s fault. See, Sadako has a thing for playing dress-up. She asks for a bandana or a scarf or any piece of cloth to be wrapped around her head whenever she wants to sing along to her favorite Erykah Badu song, “Bag Lady.” She makes sure she’s wearing her kitten heels whenever she performs Tamar Braxton’s “Love and War.” She grabs this piece of white piece of lacy fabric and puts it around her shoulders whenever she’s copying Christina Aguilera in her American Music Awards performance, where she sang a medley of tracks from her “Lotus” album, starting with “Lotus (Intro).” So going back to Beyonce, my little one discovered the talented star just recently when I popped in a DVD copy of her 2006 concert. It didn’t take long for Sadako to copy the star’s birits, moves, and get-ups.
