WE LOVE THESE SNACKS FROM REGENT

Sadako and I love going to the supermarket to look for new snacks and lately we just discovered some new treats from Regent!



We love these big bags of King Crab crab-flavored crackers. Crunchy and tasty, they’re perfect for movie nights and they’re good enough for me, Sadako, and her mom.



Also good for movie nights (but for anytime-snacking, actually) are these packs of Caramel Popcorn. Those who like it salty would enjoy the cheese flavor, but those who like it sweet-salty would like the salted version. Both are really good and I’m sure you’d enjoy either – or both! Sadako likes the cheese flavor while I like the salted one, which is good coz walang agawan ;)



But our super favorite are their Belgian Waffle European-style waffles. They look really cute and they taste pretty good. In fact, Sadako enjoyed having them as baon to school last March.



At home, we use them for waffle sandwiches. I like spreading Nutella on them while Sadako likes making cream cheese waffle sandwiches using them. These Belgian Waffles from Regent are pretty much a staple in our grocery carts.



Can’t wait to do the groceries again and discover some exciting new snacks.

Congratulations to shoe brand TOMS, which now has their flagship store at the Mega Fashion Hall of SM Megamall! I have to admit I’ve never owned a pair of TOMS so when I got to the store, I took my time and looked at EVERYTHING, from the men’s shoes to the even the women’s, plus those for kids, too. I AUDITIONED FOR SMOKEY MOUNTAIN

I loved singing and performing for relatives and guests at home when I was young. One time, when I was about four years old, my mother asked me to sing Tomorrow for our relatives who were visiting. I instantly burst into song. However, after singing the first line with so much passion, I decided to stop and asked to be excused. I went inside my room, did a proper entrance, and then whipped out my milk bottle, which I used as a microphone. I sang “The sun will come out tomorrow” again and finished the song. No doubt about it: even when I was just a kid, I already knew I wanted to sing and perform for others. Fast forward to my high school years. One day, I read in the papers that Ryan Cayabyab was forming an all-male version of Smokey Mountain. Of course, I just had to try out. I didn’t tell my parents about it. MY 3-YEAR-OLD IS ALREADY WEARING A BRA

And it’s Beyonce’s fault. See, Sadako has a thing for playing dress-up. She asks for a bandana or a scarf or any piece of cloth to be wrapped around her head whenever she wants to sing along to her favorite Erykah Badu song, “Bag Lady.” She makes sure she’s wearing her kitten heels whenever she performs Tamar Braxton’s “Love and War.” She grabs this piece of white piece of lacy fabric and puts it around her shoulders whenever she’s copying Christina Aguilera in her American Music Awards performance, where she sang a medley of tracks from her “Lotus” album, starting with “Lotus (Intro).” So going back to Beyonce, my little one discovered the talented star just recently when I popped in a DVD copy of her 2006 concert. It didn’t take long for Sadako to copy the star’s birits, moves, and get-ups.
