MARIE FRANCE’S TRIPOLLAR LEGEND
Confession: Just like a lot of people, I don’t like it when
people tell me I gained weight, even if it’s true.
Another confession: While I usually love it when people tell
me I’m thin (when I know that I did lose weight), there are also times when I
don’t like it when they say that.
Sometimes, I don’t believe them; I think they’re just trying
to be nice.
Sometimes, I believe them, but it doesn’t matter because
what matters is what I think about my weight. If I know and feel that I gained
some pounds then other people’s opinions don’t really matter.
I have two weight problem areas.
First, when I gain weight, it shows on my face – my cheeks,
to be specific.
Second, my tummy tends to bloat. To be honest, I don’t have
the flattest of tummies, and this is something I really, really want to
address.
God help me coz while I can eat good and healthy, I also
have the tendency to pig out. Plus I don’t go to the gym and work out.
I am constantly on
the lookout for ways to make my tummy flat.
Last week I got to try Marie France’s TriPollar Legend,
which is the latest version of their successful TriPollar treatment. It is now
powered by TriLipo technology, meaning it works on the skin, the fat, and the
muscle all at the same time.
According to Marie France, it “uses selective radio
frequency energy to heat the subcutaneous fat tissue layer,” and this
“stimulates the release of liquid fat, which then exits the body through
natural processes.”
So how did my first time go?
It started with a consultation, which involved getting my
weight and calculating my body mass index, measuring different parts of my body
and then calculating how much weight I need to lose to achieve my target/ideal
weight.
Afterwards, I was asked to go to the treatment room. I
changed into a robe, which I had to remove later on for the treatment.
The attendant asked me to lie down, and she put a rolled
towel on each side of my tummy (coz it could get messy, she told me). She
squeezed some gel out of a tube and spread it on the right side of my tummy and
then proceeded to massage it using the rod-like part attached to the machine.
It felt hot in no time but it didn’t hurt at all. In fact it felt very
ticklish. Honestly, it was awkward for me – no one sees me topless! – so
nag-chikahan na lang kami nung attendant about cute guys. That broke the ice.
She massaged the part for 10 minutes and then did the same on
the left side.
The bilbil on the sides of my tummy also needed to be
treated so the attendant asked me to lie on my tummy. Each side was massaged
for five minutes.
That was it. A total of 30 minutes, which is shorter than
one’s lunch break. No cuts, no pain, no risks, no down time.
After the session, I felt instant tightness in the area,
but, of course, I’d need more/regular sessions before I can look Boracay-ready.
The doctor reminded me that I couldn’t rely on the treatment alone; it’s highly
recommended for me to work out, actually, while the fat is all liquid and
easier to get rid off.
I guess it’s about time for me to start to go to the gym and
improve on my food habits.
Humanda ang Boracay sa Bora-body ko!
